Milkweed - Gomphocarpus Physocarpus

Known locally as Parsons Balls - at least, startlingly, by my wifes grandmother (Fanny Ethel Reed), who died at the age of 96 about 35 years ago.

Flowers only, so far. The seed pod that gives it the name arrives later.
